This powerhouse creative director spent the first 10 years of his career in Chicago and St. Louis ad agencies, also working as an independent along the way winning Addy and AIGA awards for his outstanding art direction.
After a stint in his internationally successful pop band "The Sun Sawed in ½," Rose spent six years living and working in Europe. His first international success was the restructuring of the Bates Ukraine creative department; elevating it to one of the top agencies in this nascent market. Next, he worked in Italy (where he became fluent in Italian) for D'Arcy in Torino, and then helped Italian agency start up Zer021 win the Yahoo! account; producing an international award-winning TV spot for the client. At Publicis, Austria, he helped win the Coca-Cola account for Publicis Group Austria and was awarded the job of creative director for the entire Coke line. Then, he helped Boulder's Sterling-Rice Group build the Horizon Organic brand, was essential in winning the Children's Hospital account and produced memorable campaigns for both (as well as several other multi-national brands. Recently, he has built an online, virtual agency, The 7 1/2 Floor, where he has amassed a group of freelance writers, artists, web designers and public relations people to help small and start up companies with branding.
Rose is not only a skilled art/creative director but also a musician, songwriter, illustrator, photographer and writer. He draws his inspiration from his wife and son, a lifetime of experience and such diverse figures as Lewis Carroll, Dr. Suess, Monty Python and Salvador Dali.
